Dr Conor Murphy

GP

Graduated from UCD in 2004 and received his specialist qualification in General Practice in 2009. From then he worked alongside his father Dr John Murphy (who established the practice, now retired).  His areas of particular interest are Men's Health and Sexual Health.

Dr Niamh Gordon

GP

Niamh was awarded her MICGP from RCSI following completion of vocational training in General Practice. In addition to her medical degree, Niamh holds an MA and MBS in Business from Trinity College Dublin and UCD.

She holds a diploma in Women’s Health and has qualifications in contraception and menopause. She is a LARC inserter (IUD, IUCD and implants) and has completed all modules of the IBCLC. She also holds a professional certificate in Clinical Dermatology. Niamh specialises in women’s health.

Dr Claire O'Driscoll

GP

Dr Claire O’Driscoll graduated from UCD in 2011. She is a vocationally trained GP and obtained her membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2016. She has post graduate diplomas in women’s health, primary care paediatrics and musculoskeletal injury management. She also has a professional certificate in clinical dermatology. Claire joined Blackrock Medical Practice in 2020. 

Dr Kate Ni Argain

GP

Dr Kate Ni Argain has been working at Blackrock Medical Practice since 2019. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2007 and completed her Specialist GP training with the Trinity College, Dublin/HSE training scheme in 2014.

Sarah O'Buachalla

Nurse

Sarah is our Practice Nurse.  She trained as a General Nurse in UCD & St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin, qualifying in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She then went onto study a Higher Diploma in Midwifery, qualifying in 2006 and has spent many years working in both Mount Carmel Hospital and The Coombe Women’s Hospital, Dublin.

Sarah has experience in both general and maternity and loves working with both young and old patients as a Practice Nurse for the last 7 years.  She is a member of the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Ireland, General Practice Nurse Association (IGPNEA) and is a Registered sample taker with Cervical Check.  Sarah joined the practice in 2022

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys family time and playing hockey.

Donna Hogan

Practice Manager

Donna joined the practice in 2011 following several years in Executive PA roles in the UK and Ireland.  She progressed to Practice Manager and enjoys the challenge of managing all non-clinical aspects of the Practice and team of colleagues to ensure that the patients of our Practice are happy with the service. 

Donna is trained as a phlebotomist and GP Assistant and provides this service on a part time basis.

Outside of work, Donna has three sons, plays tennis and enjoys the outdoors.
